Kit Components
1: UNPACK THE KIT
Open your folding knife kit and lay out all the parts including two liners, a blade, ebony wood scales, brass bolsters, torx tools, bushings, pins, screws, and the leather sheath.

2: PREPARE THE LEFT LINER
Attach stand-offs to the left locking liner by inserting screws into the beveled holes at the center-back and butt of the liner, securing each with a stand-off spacer.

3: ATTACH THE LEFT BOLSTER

Align the left bolster with the left locking liner and insert the pivot pin. Secure with a bolster screw using a T6 torx, ensuring it's not overtightened. Good time to take a break and crack a cold one!

4: INSERT THE STOP PIN

Place the stop pin in the left liner to limit the blade's opening range.

5: INSTALL BUSHINGS & BLADE

Place one bushing over the pivot pin, snap the blade into position, and then place the second bushing over the pin.

6: ATTACH THE RIGHT LINER

Position the right liner over the blade, ensuring alignment with the pivot pin, stop pin, and stand-offs.

7: SECURE THE STAND-OFFS

Tighten the stand-off screws on both sides of the knife, ensuring they are securely fastened.

8: ATTACH THE RIGHT BOLSTER

Align and secure the right bolster using the pivot pin’s male screw with a T8 torx, but keep it loose for adjustment.

9: INSTALL EBONY WOOD SCALES

Attach the scales using the shorter screws near the bolsters and the longer screws near the butt of the handle. Adjust the tightness of bolster screws if necessary.

10: ASSEMBLY CHECK

Now is a good time to take a break and grab a cold one while you ensure that all of the screws (bolster, handle, and stand-off screws) are tightened.

11: ATTACH THUMB BOB

Insert the thumb bob on the blade and secure it with the smallest screw, making sure it is counter-sunk properly.

12: QUALITY CHECK

Do a final check to ensure all parts are secure and the knife functions smoothly without any part being overly tight.

13: CLEAN THE KNIFE

Wipe down the knife with a microfiber cloth to remove fingerprints and debris.

14: SHEATH THE KNIFE

Place the assembled knife in the provided genuine leather sheath and crack open another beer and appreciate the effort and skill involved in assembling the knife, recognizing the personal achievement and the heirloom quality of your work.

Nice work.
